We understand the challenges of sourcing the right product and the complexities of managing the entire supply chain process. It can be very time-consuming and fraught with risk, especially where a supplier is based overseas which often makes it difficult to verify them in terms of capability, quality, reliability and ethics. Production is only one part of the supply chain of course, logistics and shipping need to be managed as well, along with the associated requirements and documentation for customs and any related legislation.

At Far Link we have over 20 years of experience in sourcing and procurement. During this time we’ve accumulated a wealth of specialist knowledge and built an extensive network across the entire supply chain.

We tailor our services according to each individual client’s needs. This commences with a review of their specifications and a thorough market analysis followed by full product cost engineering to identify potential sources across key criteria from capability and reliability, to best value, quality and ethical standards.

We then screen all the potential suppliers that meet the criteria only recommending the most reliable to manufacture our clients’ products. Whilst finding the most cost effective ways to manufacture and deliver the products is our main objective, we never compromise on product quality. We work with world’s leading companies to conduct factory audits, inspections, testing and certifications to ensure quality standards and ethical compliance.

We coordinate the contracts process with binding agreements that meet the relevant regulations acting as the point of contact between our clients and the suppliers with communications at each stage.

Punctuality goes hand in hand with quality. It’s our biggest commitment. We work very closely with our freight forwarders to monitor and manage the critical path, staying closely involved at every stage and communicating progress with our clients throughout. We also help our clients with forecasting by providing advice on optimum stock in-take, stock control, warehousing and fulfilment.
